Assigning Roles

Prerequisites

  • Refer to Prerequisitesto see if you have GCP Permissions Required to assign Roles.

  • Make sure you have created Roles that have CloudVerse's required permissions.

Assigning Roles In Organization/Project

Steps To Follow

  1. Open Roles pagearrow-up-right in GCP Console.

  2. Click the button in the top left corner, located to the right of the GCP logo, select the Organization (or Project) where you want to create the custom role:

  3. Click GRANT ACCESS, in New principals box type CloudVerse's service account:

In Role box, type the name of the Roles that CloudVerse need. Refer toRoles and Required Permissions to see which role you have to add.

  • You can use your custom role name if you've created the role with a different name.

  1. Click Save to finish.

    Note: This is an example, the roles listed here should base on how you add your account to CloudVerse.

Assigning Roles In Billing Account

Steps To Follow

  1. Open Billing pagearrow-up-right in GCP Console. Click on the Billing Account which you want to grant CloudVerse access.

  2. In the left pane, scroll down and click Account management:

  3. Click ADD PRINCIPAL,

    in New principals box type CloudVerse's service account:

    In Role box, type Billing Account Viewer role:

  1. Click SAVE to finish.
